Paliton beach

Paliton beach is located in San Juan on the island of Siquijor, 16 minutes away from Siquijor port by scooter. It is a true paradise beach. If you are lucky, you will be able to watch the sun set exactly like on the photos. The orange colors of the setting sun reflecting on the clear waters was astonishing. Contrary to what I have read in other blogs, the beach was not crowded at all, which was very nice. I have never been there during the day but I have heard it is a perfect beach for snorkeling too.

  • How to get there : Check the Google map at the end of the page :) I would recommend renting a scooter and driving there.

  • Entrance environmental fee : 20 pesos (0,33 euros), but if you arrive when the sun is about to set you won’t need to pay :)

  • What to take with you: If you are going to Paliton beach during the day, you might want to take some sunscreen, a hat or something to protect your head with, snorkeling gear (they lend/rent some there!), a swimsuit as well as a towel and anything else you believe is useful. If you go to Paliton beach for the sunset, all you need is a comfortable position to watch the sunset and enjoy the show.

  • Food and drinks: You can buy cocktails and beers as well as food at Paliton beach
