Dumaluan Beach/bohol beach

Dumaluan Beach/Beach of Bohol is probably my favorite one on Panglao Island. You can walk for ages alongside palm trees, on white sand, with clear blue water next to you. You will pass by some resorts, but nothing like the ones you can find in Alona. Here, it is more peaceful. There are sun beds and hamacs you can relax on, swings you can swing on, all free of charge (unless it is clearly stated that they are exclusively for the resort’s guests).

Directions and useful information:

You will need to enter through a resort called South Palms Resort. If you go by scooter you will be able to park for free in their parking. If you are hungry you will find a buffet restaurant (the food looked incredible) but it closes at 2pm. I think that you can order from their daily menu all day.

If you just ate breakfast and that lunch does not seem appealing to you right now, you will be able to relax in the shade or in the sun, in their colorful chairs, hop on a swing, play volley ball, walk along the beach, have a swim or have a massage in their stress free area.

The water is very shallow and very see through, so you can see some fish and starfish if you are lucky!

What time to go: It can get very hot very quickly. I’d recommend going there in the morning around 10pm and stay for a few hours. Another option going there for the sunset as the temperatures fall and it gets more breathable.
